A Part Of

I am a drop of water
Dripping down into the sea
And of this grandest puzzle
I am a single piece

I am a single pixel in
This screen that I reside
I am a single star among
The trillions in this sky

I am a single instrument
In this orchestra so grand
I am but just a single grain
Of salt among the sand

I am a single boxcar
On this million mile train
I am a single cell out
Of the billions in my brain

I’m part of something larger
As I see more every day
And truthfully I wouldn’t
Have it any other way
