I’ve come into this place
From very far away
A distant side of space
Where black and white are gray

I don’t know what to say
But use your nouns and verbs
To always get my way
With just these simple words

The mind is more complex
Than I could ever write
What should you then expect
When shadows hit the light?

What do I really mean
When what I say is said?
Is life simply a dream
Or is it in your head?

I know I don’t belong
I know I don’t fit in
This earth is not my home
I am an alien

You do not understand
I doubt you ever will
A stranger in this land
A fool upon this hill
