Reaper's Wayve

This crest is pretty sketchy
In a very etch-a-way
I’m blessed by this expressive
Blessing that You’ve fetched my way

Instead of all I’ve bled
Just being left to waste away
I’m fed by daily Bread
That fills my head and makes me say

The weight of all my chains
Has faded since You’ve come my way
Erased the blatant stains
And healed uncomfort-laden pain

I’ve played the chasing game
For far too long to waste away
And so I carry on this song
Until You come to say

That “I have heard the words when hurt
You were so sure to pray
And so today I’ve come this way
To take your pain away

And I can’t blame your human brain
For wanting off of earth
So now I make your wave a trough
Grant opposite of birth”
