Regret
Whispering regrets through air
Struggle so hard not to care
Concern seems so tied to pain
Try to not to stop the rain
The consequences are so vast
Wish that I could change the past
Wish that it I could erase
But it’s what I have to face
I cannot stand what I have done
Or what, through it, I have become
These memories I want to burn
But from them there are things to learn
And though I wish I could forget
Instead I’m left with deep regret
The past is now far out of range
And future’s all that I can change
