Perpetual youth is a thing best attained
By spending time you gain on those less vain
It’s insane, but age has a way of delaying
Blame and other such strangely painful things

But all the same, it’s simply plain to resist
I mean, that is ignorance is bliss
Just a kiss, and the frog is a prince
Convinced he’s been cured by granting a wish

It’s as if dying were a crime, non-divine
Like a sign, pointing with signs like a mime
Re-align, and unwind time in three lines
Life’s designed to mend itself and be fine

So don’t mind what the shore has in store
Cry no more, no remorse, or divorce
No more war and of course no more for
Poor people like you afraid of living
