Don’t tell me not to be sad. You don’t know what it’s like. You were everything to me, And I lost you. I lost everything. Don’t tell me not to be sad, When you are sitting right in front of me. How can I not be sad, When what I can’t have is right in front of me? I try to hold back the tears, Like I try holding back my love for you, Thinking it will make things better. But it doesn’t… So don’t tell me not to be sad.
