gain have I fell

I am mad with myself And the distance has grew And I’m farther from You So myself I attack Cause I cannot get back And I want to just bow But I do not know how So I do all I can To come back to Your hand To come back to Your face And this distance erase But we still are apart Though with all of my heart After You do I seek But instead of the peak I am stuck at the base Even though You I chase Even though I’m aware That You are always there And that though near You are It still seems to be far I don’t know what to do To be closer to You And though I am stuck I refuse to give up I refuse to give in Till I find You again But for now I will wait And I’ll try to keep faith That one day I will see That You’ve come back to me So the day that You do And my hope becomes true I’ll say bye to this stress And my soul can then rest
