hrough distances I feel you,

Even though you’ve left, And things may now be perfect, But soon they’ll be a mess. For underneath the surface, Complications lurk, And even though you might deny, You know that it won’t work. It failed to work the first time, Why then should it work now? You may say you’ve changed, But simple logic won’t allow. Of course you’ve changed, that’s the thing, You’re bound to change once more, Insecure, unstable, In your mercurial core. You never get to see him, For you live too far apart, Try not to get attached, Lest he break your fragile heart. I know I cannot stop you, But whenever it ends, Know that I’ll be here to help you, I’ll be your best friend.
