e’re parallell lines

And I can see you from where I am Always right next to me And yet so distant Our lines never cross Our paths never intersect We never come together And I don’t know why You’re so impossibly Out of reach We parallell each other On into eternity Our lives always beside each other But never intertwined We’re parallell lines And we never dance The cosmic dance Of DNA strands Spiraling together And I wonder why
