ast night, I dreamt of perfection,

Everything was perfect between us, We were how we used to be, It was perfect, you should have seen us. I was happy, you were happy, We loved each other so much, I fought to stay asleep, To live the dream, but had no luck. I dreamed of the perfect world, The perfect place, the perfect scene, The place that I would stay forever, If the place was not a dream. And even though it is not real, At least I could escape, At least I could forget the past, At least forget my hate. My mind is filled with memories, Which are all that I have left, And I’d use the keys of happiness, If I knew where they were kept. But things are never well for me, I guess it’s just my fate, It’s dreams like this, that make me wish, I’d sleep and never wake.
