look and all I fucking see

Are memories of you and me Reminding of pain carved into A fading memory of you What you don’t want, you cannot miss The damage done cannot be fixed Much less by a five lettered word Which in this case should be a verb However it’s simply a lie A noun expressed within a sigh If you were sorry, you would help Someone other than yourself And selfish though to some I sound I’d like to now turn that around For which of us neglected feelings? Promises, and other dealings? Who here broke the other’s heart? And who left who to fall apart? Who betrayed their dearest friend? And brought their life near to an end? Her you see, I broke no trust All I wanted, was her love But such a simple thing as that By me simply cannot be had But after all, it’s just a girl There’s many of them in this world There’s always more fish in the sea But it doesn’t matter, when none are for me…
