t sounds so simple

To the uninitiated Surrender Give up Release it Let go Change Transform Surrender But it’s not that easy Especially if you’re human We think we know it all We can do it all ourselves With no help But we can’t We must Surrender Let it all go Release our controlling grip Hand it over Be humbled And weak Only when you’ve nowhere else to turn Are you willing to try anything else Only then will you Surrender I pray I never have anywhere else to turn That I’m weak so I can do nothing but surrender I’m tired of thinking I’m strong I’m tired of “having a grip” All I want is to surrender for good But it’s not quite that simple
