’d like to take this time,

To thank you. To thank you for everything you’ve done, To, and for me. Thanks for giving me time alone. It sure is wonderful. I thought I had a lot of time alone before, But this is incredible. I never knew you could be this alone, Because I’ve never been this alone in my life. Thanks for making me single. I never knew being single was so great, And I never liked it before. But I feel so free… If there was anyone to flirt with, I could. If there was anything I wanted to do apart from you, I could do it. I’m like a bird with broken wings, In an open cage. I may be free to go, But what good is it when I can’t? Thank you for giving me inspiration to write. I thought I wrote a lot before, But since you’ve left writing pours out like… Rain from a thunderstorm. Or, cursing from a sailor’s mouth. Curses I wish to hurl at you, But can’t, Because I’m already saying to you… Thanks for everything.
