e’re addicted to our lives

We try so hard to hide We sing our lullabies While we slowly die inside We drift from sea to sea To see what we can see But in the end our dreams Are just foretelling of our genes We drift and float right by As you go through your lives But you never realize When one of us may die So sing songs now from deep Blend melodies so sweet And still the secrets keep Just beneath your feet
