I see from across the room In his direction you stare Silently I wonder Why it’s him for whom you care Your every breath, your every thought Consumed with visions of him Every course of action, every move you make Based on lusts and whims It seems to me like you Want just what you can’t have Take for granted what you do With just a chuckle and a laugh If you neglect your true friends On the gamble of one person You’ll have no one there to help As your problems only worsen But liking him is your choice I cannot change your mind I am simply a small voice Who is trying to be kind So with tears streaming down my face I will let you leave Just remember when everyone’s gone You’ll still always have me
